Regional Centers

Wisconsin has five Regional Centers that support families of children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) and the providers who serve them. Regional Center staff can provide information on many issues, including transition.  All services are free and private.  Below is a sampling of help that’s available:

  • Information on a child’s special needs
  • Problem-solving
  • Services in the community or state
  • Assistance locating doctors and
  • Connecting with schools
  • Health benefits assistance
  • Transition planning
  • Parent to parent support
  •  Medical Home training and advocacy
